Counselling Registration
- Step 1: Initiate the process by visiting the official website https://upneet.gov.in.
- Step 2: Log in using your NEET UG-2023 application number and roll number.
- Step 3: Follow the provided instructions on the portal for seamless registration.
- Step 4: Pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 2,000, encompassing both the 1st and 2nd rounds of counselling.
- Step 5: If not registered for the 1st round, participation in the 2nd round is still possible by depositing a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 2,000.
- Step 6: For the mop-up round, if eligible, complete registration by depositing a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000.

Counselling Process
First Round of Counselling:
- Initiate by depositing the security money based on your college preference.
- Engage in online choice filling by selecting your preferred colleges.
- Ensure to lock your choices within the stipulated time.
- Seat allocation is contingent on your choices and rank.
- If a seat is allocated, prompt admission is necessary, and failure to do so results in forfeiting the security money.
- If no seat is secured in the first counselling, eligibility for the second round is retained without redepositing security money.
Second Round of Counselling:
- Eligibility for candidates without any seat allocation in the first round.
- Participation in the second round is allowed without redepositing security money.
- Candidates who have already taken admission in the first round can still participate in the second round if seeking a change in seat/college.
- Opting for the same seat/college previously admitted to is discouraged, as it would result in the cancellation of the previous allotment.
- Successful allotment in the second round necessitates admission in the new seat, and failure to do so will cancel the new allotment.
Mop-up Round (If Eligible):
- Eligibility criteria involve no seat allotment in the first or second round and not being registered for those rounds.
- Registration on https://upneet.govt.in by depositing a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,000 is mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility criteria for admission in Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges/Institutions/Universities (State Quota) require being a native of Uttar Pradesh.
- For admission in Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions, it is not necessary to be a native of Uttar Pradesh for eligibility.
- Domicile certificate requirements vary based on the location of High School and Intermediate exams.
